why…oh…why!!??

So, it has been a very busy month in February for yours truly. Full of ups and downs. I started out the month with struggling with the flu for about 2.5 weeks. Then Richard, Bill, Danny and I went to C3 in Dallas and then Richard and I continued on to Chicago for a church multi-site practicum. Hit the leadership category on the side for notes and such about the trip. Got home this past Wednesday. I was tired, but I was ready to hit the ground running with so much to do in editing videos for Easter at CCC (which is going to be incredible), hang out with my family, dive into some projects in Alive Media that got pushed back because of the flu, go through my notes and gleen from them from C3…………….and then…it happened…again. Got up Thursday morning at the house and all of the sudden, I felt chills again. Fever, sore throat, chills, sneezing. I’m sick…..again. I quickly went to the store to buy everything to fight it, even those medications that are suppose to shorten cold duration. That’s it. I’m going to not miss my vitamins and be the guinea pig for whatever other “sure fire” remedy to avoiding flu and the common cold. I’m trying to stay positive and keep my eyes on Jesus, but man, being sick is rough. This round doesn’t seem to be as bad as the previous flu so I’m thankful for that. The weird thing is that both of these bouts of illness have included fever and chills that have been more severe than most colds and sinus infections that I have. So, here is your vitamin c poster boy signing off. I’m at home today instead of at church b/c I still have fever and don’t want to spread my germs on everyone. Think I’ll go have church with T.D. Jakes on Tivo 🙂  Pray for me as you think of it.  I would appreciate it.
