There is talk of an unlimited library of music iPod for either a set price up front with purchase of iPod or as a subscription per month. The idea is consumers would pay a premium of up to $100 for unlimited access to
music for the lifetime of the device, or a monthly fee of $7-$8 for a
subscription model. I would definitely go for the $100 up front if given the option vs a monthly subscription. Although either one is a very cool idea. I would imagine that Apple would go with the subscription model as that generates ongoing revenue. $8 per month with a gazillion iPods being sold vs one time up front seems to be a no brainer. You figure an iPod will at least last two to three years.
