monday

It’s monday and I’m staring at the piles of stuff in my office that I’ve got to knock out this week. Got A LOT to get done over the next few weeks leading up to Easter. I’m slowly starting to feel normal again, but it is a slow process. I’m on my last day of antibiotics. Anitibiotics are a good thing most of the time, but I can’t always tell if it is the illness or the medicine that makes me feel so weird. I appreciate those of you that have been praying for me. This whole flu and flu relapse situation that I’ve been going through has been really strange and difficult. As I’ve been going through it, I keep wondering and asking, “Lord, what are you trying to show me through this?” I know He is at work doing something that I can’t see, and it could very well be that it is just teaching me to trust Him more, among other things. No matter what, He Is Lord.

On a side note, I’d like to go on record in saying that Daylight Savings Time is a tool of the devil. Every year for the two weeks following the “Spring Forward” my family and I are struggling. The weird thing is we get plenty of sleep. It’s just that our bodies are still on the old time I guess. Anyway, if anyone wants to begin a petition for non-observance of DST in the state of SC, sign me up. I’m all for it 🙂
