Mark Driscoll on CNN
Checkout this interview between DL Hughley and Mark Driscoll. Driscoll has taken a lot of heat lately from different groups on his messages at Mars Hill on the subject of sex. My opinion is that the church has two options: 1. talk about a Biblical view of sex or 2. bury it’s head in the sand and hope it goes away. Many, and possibly most, churches take the latter approach and continue to perpetuate misconceptions about the church and sex. What are your thoughts on that?

I thought Mark really connected with DL. He didn’t back down from the truth, but he respected DL in the way he answered him. I think DL voiced what so many in the culture assume about the church: that it is full of hypocrisy and is fake. Thought Mark was spot on in answering that.

Dude. Loved it. I am always cynical and so I have to say….it’s amazing how they cut Mark off as soon as he started saying Jesus. The media folk are so predictable.
You’re right on and he’s right on with talking about sex. We have to give our kids the biblical view of sex because they’re sure not gonna get it watching tv or going to the movies, etc.
